Wahoo KICKR ROLLR Smart Roller Trainer
The Wahoo KICKR ROLLR Smart Roller Trainer combines the ride feel of KICKR with the natural motion of rollers, a roller trainer your bike goes onto whole. There are no thru axles to fuss with and no rear wheel to remove. Adjust the wheelbase to your bike, then secure the front tire in the gripper. Dual rollers let the rear wheel move naturally and cut tire slip, however hard you push. With your bike's ANT+ power meter paired through Power Meter Connect, the ROLLR controls resistance up to 1,500 watts and a 10% grade. Power then reads within +/-1% of that meter. The ROLLR also works with every drivetrain.
Without a power meter, the ROLLR still lets you train with power. Its onboard reading stays consistent on the same equipment for Wahoo app routes and structured workouts, while resistance holds steady and speed goes out to your app.

Setting it up
How to use it
From the road to the rollers
Open the quick-adjust wheelbase clamp, slide the wheel chocks to match your bike and drop the front wheel into the stabilizing block. Turn the Tire Gripper knob until the bike feels as steady as you like, and the rear wheel rides on the rollers.
- A smooth tread pattern is recommended
- Standard road tires, no trainer-specific tire
Power with or without a meter
Ride on the onboard power for Wahoo app routes and workouts, where readings stay consistent on the same equipment. When you want race-ready numbers, Power Meter Connect switches the ROLLR over to your bike's own power meter.
- Unplugged, it rides as traditional rollers with inertial resistance up to 450 W
- Cadence data needs a power meter or a cadence sensor
- Measures speed and distance
