📟 Garmin's biggest ECHOMAP, a widescreen touchscreen chartplotter and fish finder built for serious inland and coastal anglers.

Chart Card Compatibility

This unit has a microSD card slot and runs Garmin LakeVü g3 inland lake maps and Navionics+ and Navionics Platinum+ charts. Drop in the card for your region and go.

It comes in 10", 12", and 16", with SideVü side imaging, ClearVü down imaging, and traditional CHIRP, Garmin LiveScope compatible. Available models: 166sv, 162sv, 126sv, 122sv, 106sv, 102sv. Most ship with the GT56UHD-TM transducer; a no-transducer option is available if you already run LiveScope or another transducer.

Which model do I need?

  • The letters are the sonar. cv is ClearVü down imaging only. sv is SideVü side imaging plus ClearVü down imaging. xsv adds built-in 1kW traditional CHIRP with both, no black box needed.
  • The last number is the maps. On ECHOMAP Ultra 2, 6 = US Garmin Navionics+ (US lakes and coastal) and 2 = Worldwide basemap. So 166sv is the US 16" and 162sv is the worldwide 16". Choose the US Navionics+ version for fishing in the States.

Frequently asked

  • Does it come with a transducer? Most ship with the GT56UHD-TM transducer; a no-transducer option is available if you already run LiveScope or another transducer.
  • US Navionics+ vs Worldwide, which do I need? US Navionics+ (166/126/106sv) is preloaded for US lakes and coastal waters. Worldwide (162/122/102sv) carries a worldwide basemap. US anglers want US Navionics+.
  • What does cv, sv and xsv mean? cv is ClearVü down imaging only. sv is SideVü plus ClearVü, side and down. xsv adds built-in 1kW traditional CHIRP with both and no black box.
